Skip Now Playing: Special FX Makeup Now Playing: Special FX Makeup Kids Films has been offering Behind The Lens hands on, experience-based filmmaking workshops and courses for kids (and adults) of all ages since 2003. The workshops grew out of the Behind The Curtain workshops which began in 1996, and extension of Narnia Productions and the creative programs they began offering to kids in 1982. The online version of our character driven workshops are a way of offering the skills and techniques we have been sharing with kids as young as five years old in a hands on environment, whether on their own or in a classroom or within an organizational setting. Registration in our programs also offers participants some amazing prices on direct-from-the-manufacturer programs which are delivered directly to your door or to your school or organization. You can also offer these creative tools as part of a fundraising program, providing something that is truly needed and useful as a means of generating revenue for your arts related projects and filmmaking equipment. We offer certificates in all aspects of theatre and filmmaking as well as sharing your projects with other budding performing and visual artists. | Available Courses

GlossaryFrame HandlesFrame handles are extra frames at the beginning and the end of every shot, the exact number will vary from one application to the next, which are used primarily when preparing original material for optical printing, such as the Zero Cut method of blow up, or the creation of a superimposed title, etc. The purpose they serve, in the case of zero cut, is to make sure the registration pin of the printer is not grabbing a splice, which can cause the image to wobble. With opticals they are often used merely to avoid printed-in dirt, which is much more prevalent close to a splice where bits of film cement can flake off.Upcoming EventsThere are no upcoming events |
